Happy Holidays: A Message from the IBWPPI Staff

Chanelle Brown, 2019-2020 Fellow for Research and Policy

“The holidays is the season for love, life and celebration! It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with family, friends and loved ones and to take time to rejuvenate and replenish your energy for the upcoming new year. I cherish this time because it’s when you can focus on connectedness and strengthening your bonds with the people you care about.”

Brittney Hayes, Marketing and Membership Associate

“I always get excited for the holidays. From the decorations, holiday music and endless desserts, this time of year seems to put everyone in a joyful mood. Not to mention it’s also the perfect time to self-reflect on the year and get ready for what’s to come. To top it off, the extra time to spend with family and continue with traditions is always a plus!”

Jovonda White, Special Projects Manager

“Holidays are important to me for these reasons: It’s a celebration of life which brings people together to share, love and laugh. It’s a time to be thankful and grateful for what you have. I particularly like the holidays to take a break from the monotony of everyday life and celebrate things worth living for. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and loved ones and giving to others! There’s always someone that you could bring a little cheer to during this holiday season and year-round.”
