Hats for Hope

Hats for Hope is a signature friend and fund-raising project of the International Black Women’s Public Policy Institute.

Held in August annually as a private in-home reception bringing women together to learn about the history and work of the organization as well as to encourage them to become new members. The first Hats for Hope was held in Washington, DC at the National Council of Negro Women’s building, later moving to Los Angeles where it was hosted by former Board Director, Lisa Cagnolatti and after three years moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where the organization’s Chaplain, Dr. Lula Ballton hosted groups of influential women of Atlanta for three consecutive years.

Corporate Sponsors of this special event have included, Coca-Cola, Toyota North America, and East-West Bank.
