Celebrate Black Women at the Giving Tuesday Happy Hour!

In this Thanksgiving holiday season, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of our members and supporters.

At the beginning of the year, IBWPPI proclaimed 2020 as the Year of the Black Woman. Black women have so much to celebrate this year! They are being appointed to cabinet positions, winning key Congressional seats and breaking glass ceilings in the business arena. We continue to selflessly hold our families and communities up in times of crisis.

We know that when Black women come together we are powerful beyond belief. This is why we will celebrate this moment and lift each other for the achievements we've made and will continue to make in the future.

Please join me as a special guest for a special Giving Tuesday Virtual Happy Hour honoring Black women! We’ll gather on Tuesday, Dec. 1st at 7:30 pm ET. Please be ready to share your good news so we can celebrate you! Here’s a few reasons to join us:

  • Fellowship with Black women in an uplifting space.
  • Celebrate a job anniversary, business launch or published book.
  • Celebrate your good health, family and loved ones.
  • Celebrate any additional good news!

I hope you enjoy the holiday whether you choose to celebrate virtually or with a small group of loved ones. Please stay safe and I look forward to having you join us for the virtual happy hour on Tuesday, Dec. 1st.

Join IBWPPI on Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity where non-profit organizations seek to encourage supporters to give just before the end of the year. The COVID-19 pandemic has unleashed a harsh blow to many of the dedicated organizations helping to make life better within our communities around the world. IBWPPI has continued to provide aid, monetary support and advocacy that enhances lives.

Black women lead and show up in spaces and places where the needs are great. We can only do this with the help of our members and supporters. This is why for Giving Tuesday, we are asking you to link arms with us by renewing your membership today! Do it before Giving Tuesday so that on December 1st, we can celebrate together at our Virtual Happy Hour starting at 7:30 pm ET.
