Tammy Wilder

Tammy Wilder is a native Georgian shaped by the love of family in all its forms, the chisel of time and the perpetual forgiveness and grace of her faith.

Tammy previously worked as a Family Therapist, helping families navigate the turbulent waters of teen pregnancy and parenthood, substance abuse, homelessness and even divorce. As Senior Corporate Counsel for an education technology company, Tammy currently supports the future of learning by helping to deliver education solutions designed to improve student achievement and to better empower educators. Additionally, as an inaugural co-chair of the company’s DEI Council, Tammy works to design and implement programs that create a culture of equity and inclusion for everyone, not just a select few.

Tammy is a graduate of Howard University, Emory University School of Law and a classically trained pianist. She enjoys working with at-risk youth and creating safe spaces where they can confidently discover their passions and transform their innate abilities into life-sustaining skills. To rejuvenate her mind, body and soul, Tammy loves to write, the old-fashioned way. She also takes time to exercise and constantly surrounds herself with music.

“I believe that our thoughts ultimately dictate our action, so I aspire to focus on whatever things are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. When I fail, I’m ever so grateful for the opportunity to mature as I live another day to try again.”
