Marlissa Collier

Marlissa Collier is the Area Manager of Network Services at AT&T in Dallas, TX. In this role, she is responsible for technician dispatch strategy and operations for Northern California and Nevada. Marlissa joined AT&T as a member of the 2015 cohort of AT&T’s flagship Leadership Development Program. Since joining AT&T, she has held roles in customer service, big data, finance, technology transformation, corporate communications and as an executive Chief of Staff. Prior to joining AT&T, Marlissa worked as a Market Analyst at Southern California Gas Company in Los Angeles, CA where she was responsible for analyzing residential natural gas usage, following new home construction trends, and lending energy efficient design services to large home builders. Marlissa’s work as a Market Analyst earned her the California Building Industry Association’s Future Leaders Award at the age of 22.

Marlissa is also a blogger, commentator and the founder of the Dollar15 Blog. Launched in 2016, Dollar15 serves its readers opinion pieces infused with extensive research, humor, and the occasional expletive. The platform is dedicated to sharing diverse stories and raising cultural and political awareness. Marlissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering & Management from California State University, Long Beach and an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a German Marshall Fund Marshall Memorial Fellow, the Co-Host of At the Movies with David Huntley, and a communications consultant with MRS Agency. A native of South Central Los Angeles, CA, Marlissa currently resides in Dallas, TX with her furkids, Lomo and Thelly.
