Lindokuhle Matoti

Lindokuhle Matoti is a South African born and raised in the rural villages of Cala in the Eastern Cape. She is currently a full-time technical agent at ICC (International Call Center). She recently (2020) graduated from the Durban University of Technology in Management and Science,  specializing in public relations and communications. In 2019 she completed her internship with St Philomans, a children’s home organization focusing mainly on young girls between the ages of 7 to 16  years. In 2016 she completed her college diploma in public relations from Edu College in Port Elizabeth.

When she started her journey of becoming a Public Relations Practitioner was more than just being the public figure of a multi-national organization, it was about being the voice of the people and aligning the needs of the public to those of the company. Lindokuhle’s vision is to see herself in a leading role where she can be the voice of many South Africans. Coming from a  rural village where females are mostly celebrated for getting married she hopes to be the example that it is possible to be a successful profession and yet a beautiful wife. The PR space will hopefully allow her to spread the message.

Aside from working and reading, Lindo enjoys being outdoors and connecting with nature. Her main hobby is singing. In 2018 she joined “Whatelse Sounds” a popular band formed by fellow students at DUT.
