Diara Newman is a screenwriter, news producer, and avid reader. She has spent her professional career covering urgent stories at CBS News for both Face The Nation and CBS This Morning. A graduate of The George Washington University and current D.C. resident, Diara has mastered the art of monument tour guide. She is a member of the Dorothy I. Height Global Leadership Academy and an Emma Bowen Foundation fellow, organizations with a commitment to legacy and social responsibility.
