IBWPPI Celebrates Honoring International Day Of The Girl

November 17, 2020

Belize

On this International Day of the Girl, IBWPPI affirms our commitment to all girls of African descent. We celebrate their achievements, power, brilliance, and gifts to the world. Girls in the African diaspora are magical and can lead global  movements and institutions and be catalysts of change.

As the only international public policy institute founded by and operated by Black women, we believe that our young women and girls need special attention from policymakers to ensure their human rights are safeguarded. All girls should have the right to quality education, access to medical care, and full legal protections to ensure their safety and wellness.

They deserve to live in a world free of discrimination, racial hostility, sexism, and other forms of oppression. Join us in commemorating this international day of observance, declared by the United Nations, and standing with our girls.
