Jazmine N. Cooper is a dynamic leader with over 12 years of experience in project and event management, diversity and inclusion leadership, and strategic partnerships. She currently serves as Senior Advisor at AARP’s Center for Health Equity through Nursing, where she leads national mentoring initiatives for minority-serving nursing schools and manages large-scale events and programs. Jazmine has successfully recruited over 200 nurse mentors and developed innovative programming to support equity and inclusion. As Chair of AARP’s Black Employee Resource Group, she oversees cultural celebrations, professional development, and networking initiatives across 50 state offices and U.S. territories. Her expertise spans project lifecycle management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional team leadership. Jazmine is a recognized speaker at national and international conferences and has co-authored publications on nursing workforce diversity and health equity. She holds an MBA from the University of Maryland University College, a B.S. in Psychology from Bowie State University, and a DEI certification from the University of South Florida. Her leadership reflects a commitment to advancing health equity, fostering inclusive environments, and driving impactful change in healthcare and organizational culture.
