Kathlyn built her brand in the successful management of game-changing technology projects for clients with mission-critical and national security responsibilities Kathlyn has led organizations of all sizes and held positions that include CEO, CFO, Division Director, and Programs Manager. Kathlyn co-founded and acted as President, CEO, and CFO for a successful national security-focused technology company which she sold in 2016.
Kathlyn has dedicated much of her time, resources, and knowledge to local, national and international community programs, with special attention given to those that touch on youth, minority, and women empowerment.
Kathlyn proudly serves on the board for the International Black Women’s Public Policy Institute. She is also a member of the Columbia Maryland Chapter of The Links Incorporated and a contributing member of the NAACP. Kathlyn is the Executive Director of the Greater Baltimore CARES Circle of the National CARES Mentoring Movement also known as the MISI Academy.
She is devoted to making a difference in the lives of young people through mentoring and philanthropy efforts. She sees her mission in life as being a leading example for the foundation of a young person’s dream of becoming an entrepreneur, stepping in the tradition of “each one, teach one.
