Alice Dungey

Director - Technology QMO at Southwest Airlines

“The high road is a lonely place, but it is the place where we will live.”

Alice Dungey has had a distinguished career in television production, which began after her graduation from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. She married her husband, Adrian Dungey, and together they relocated to Tampa, FL, where Alice commenced her career. Later, the couple moved to Texas and started a family. While balancing her professional and personal
life, Alice remained actively involved in community service through organizations such as United Way and Salvation Army, as well as championing social awareness issues at work and in her children’s activities.

Currently, Alice serves as the DEI Chair for USA Fencing in support of her daughter’s athletic endeavors. She holds the position of Executive Sponsor at Southwest Airlines for the Technology Women in Infrastructure and Services, Technology DEI Connect ERG, and the College Hire and Internship Program.

Alice is also a member of the Distinguished DFW Mid-Cities Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. since 2017, where she held the position of Immediate Past Chapter President. She has served on two National Committees for Jack and Jill of America: the National Publicity Committee and National Legislative Committee, where she served as South Central Region’s Public
Relations and Legislative Chair.

In her current role as Regional Legislative Chair, Alice played a pivotal role in planning and executing one of the organization’s largest and most memorable On The Hill Summits. This event brought together over 700 Teens who advocated for important issues impacting children and received a surprise in-person message from Vice President Kamala Harris.

Alice is a Charter Chapter member of Alpha Beta Iota Omega Chapter, established in May 2021, where she serves as Chapter Parliamentarian, assisting in establishing and solidifying chapter processes and procedures. She co-chaired ABIO’s inaugural ‘Pink Walk Over Cancer’ in 2022 and serves on the Chapter Programming and Protocol Committees. Alice is committed to
continuing her impact in the community and fostering excellence with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in North Texas alongside her ABIO
Sisters.
