Jackie Benton

Jackie Benton


Jackie Benton is a professional counselor and life coach in Maryland who compassionately provides support and counseling to help individuals, couples and families effectively address personal life challenges.  In her coaching, she has a passion for helping women to identify their strengths, celebrate their uniqueness, and pursue their dreams with confidence.  Prior to entering the counseling profession, she gained over 25 years of experience in television, public relations and government relations in Orlando, Florida while serving in various leadership roles as a television host and producer, director of community affairs, and as an aide to the Orange County Mayor.   In 2004, Benton launched the Benton Management Group, LLC, a firm that provides public relations consulting and community relations services.

Benton holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio-Television Broadcasting at the University of Central Florida.  She is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland, and a Certified Professional Life Coach with the ICF accredited Orange County Institute of Life Coaching. She is also a graduate of the Orange County Government Leadership Institute.  Benton has received leadership and community service recognition awards, and has served on boards for organizations that focus on women’s and children’s wellness and personal development.

Benton and her husband have two adult sons and an adult daughter.
