HAITI Relief Efforts

IBWPPI has convene hearings and discussions to identify and support sustainable women leadership models that Haitian women's organizations have been developing for years.

The nation's infrastructure is still in shambles, the rebuilding of Haitian society over the coming years and in the midst of emergency reconstruction efforts provides the opportunity to make the emergence of women's leadership and their crucial role a priority now.

IBWPPI have been working with Haitian Women Leaders, U.S. based women's organizations and women's circles to build sustainable models of leadership that will help to restore the lives of the Haitian people in the coming years.
